UIndy Engineering Summer 2022 Camp – Build Your Own 3D Printer!
The R B Annis School of Engineering (RBASOE), University of Indianapolis has been awarded a grant to serve as a UNITE Summer Camp site. Unite is a pre-collegiate summer program for talented high school students from groups historically underserved and underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). An initiative of the Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP), Unite is administered by the Technology Student Association (TSA).
The RBASOE is inviting interested candidates (incoming 9th through incoming 11th grade students) to apply to be a part of the four-week summer 2022 camp from June 6 to July 1, Monday-Friday, 9-4 weekdays. Through the UNITE grant, accepted campers will participate free-of-charge and receive a weekly stipend ($100) contingent on attendance. Lunch will also be provided for free. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2022 with preference given to historically underserved and underrepresented students in STEM.
The Summer 2022 camp will focus on assembling, operating, and modifying your own 3D printer which you’ll take home after the camp. Other activities at the camp will include pre-college classes, career mentoring, entrepreneurial mindset training, as well as college scholarship opportunities presentations. The camp will take place at the new UIndy Engineering facility R.B.Annis Hall at the University of Indianapolis.

- Be sure to select the University of Indianapolis (IN) as the Competition Location.
- A supplemental application will be emailed to you by May 2, 2022 based on UNITE.
