Make the Maker: Design and Build Your Own 3D Printer 2021

Boys and Girls, Ages 13-19
Cost: $550/camper or $800/ two campers

This camp will walk students through all the skills needed to design and build their own 3D printer. Campers, ages 13-19, or middle/high school teachers, have the chance to interact with engineering students, faculty, and staff during the hands-on design and fabrication of their own 3D printer they can take home at the end of the two weeks.

Campers will have extensive access to the engineering facility and labs.  This day camp will cover computer-aided design (CAD) skills, rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, basic machining skills, and entrepreneurial mindset learning.

Snacks, lunch, and recreational activities will also be provided.

We welcome middle and high school teachers to attend as campers as well.



The University of Indianapolis continues to closely monitor gathering and travel restrictions provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the U.S. Department of State, and the State of Indiana through public health orders or federal travel restrictions.  While Summer Camps are still taking reservations, we reserve the right to cancel any camp based on the recommendations of these organizations.  
If a cancellation is recommended, all camp fees would be refunded in full.
